The Riverside Cabin

Our reviews speak for themselves! “The Riverside Cabin” is a 2 story private cabin located on the bank of the beautiful Ocoee River & situated inside the private gates of Ocoee Riverside Farm. -The space Be mindful that there is a full flight of stairs to access the front door of the cabin. Once inside you will find that the main floor offers a den with a queen sleeper sofa, stone fireplace, full bath, fully equipped kitchen and a private bedroom with double bed. The loft bedroom is accessed via a ladder and offers an additional king-size bed, a bedside table, and a glider chair. Both bedroom spaces offer space for hanging clothes. You can enjoy meals inside on a rustic table that seats 6 or just outside on the enclosed screen porch facing the river. Your multi-leveled deck features a gas grill and grilling gazebo as well as outdoor log furniture.

Some special spaces on the farm, for the common enjoyment of all of our guests, include our Riverfront and Swan Pond Gazebos, the children's log cabin playhouse, as well as our playground located across from the covered wagons. Our boat ramp, located at the end of the main driveway, offers easy access to the river should you decide to take a cool dip or splash around with the kids.

-Guest access Ocoee Riverside Farm is a 30-acre riverfront farm located in the small town of Benton, Tennessee. As a guest of The Riverside Cabin, you will come to realize that we really do offer a 'Stay Here, Play Here' environment! The riverside fire pit in an absolute favorite for our cabin guests and we've provided all the tools you need for roasting hot dogs, grilling sandwiches, or making s'mores over the open campfire. The boat ramp, adjacent to the cabin, offers easy access to the river should you decide to take a cool dip or splash around with the kids. Additionally, we also offer our guests a number of extra activities that we refer to as "Encounters". These encounters include Farm Tours, Sloth Encounters, Kangaroo Encounters, Horseback Riding, Camel Rides, and lots, lots more! We STRONGLY encourage you to book your encounters early as spaces are limited and fill up quickly!

FOR THIS REASON IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU CHECK AVAILABILITY OF ENCOUNTERS PRIOR TO BOOKING YOUR LODGING AND THEN RESERVE YOUR ENCOUNTERS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING RECEIPT OF YOUR DISCOUNT CODE. -EV Charging

On-sight EV Charging is available to our guests at no charge. There may be occasions where more than one on-sight guest is using the charging station so please be respectful and move your car from the charging site when done.

-Porch Heaters

The screened in porch of the cabin has two, 40,000 BTU, outdoor porch heaters that run off of 20lb propane bottles. If you would like to use one or both of the porch heaters we can deliver bottle(s) of propane at a cost of $40 per bottle. Each bottle will provide approximately 10 hours of use. Cost includes delivery, connection, and set up of the heater(s).

-Other things to note Did you know that we can host your event or large family gathering? Here on the farm we offer a total of 8 different accomodations that sleep a total of 41 guests. When at least 4 accommodations are rented simultaneously for a minimum of 3 nights, the nighly rate is reduced by 10% across the board. Further, the nightly rate is reduced by 15% when renting ALL lodging spaces for the same period.

-Rental Payment / Terms

Reservations made more than 30 days in advance of the check-in date will require 50% payment of the TOTAL Rental Fee due for the stay plus 100% of the Cleaning Fee with TOTAL BALANCE DUE on or before 30 days prior to check-in. Reservations made inside of 30 days prior to check-in will require payment in full. Failure to pay all balances due at least 30 days prior to check-in may result in a forced cancellation. **ALL MONIES PAID MAY BE FORFEITED, IN PART OR IN WHOLE, TO COVER THE CANCELLATION FEES DUE TO CANCELLATION BY GUEST OR FORCED CANCELLATION DUE TO NON-PAYMENT.**

-Cancellation / Reschedule Policy

ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING VIA EMAIL and will incur cancellation fees equal to a percentage of the TOTAL RENT due for the booking as follows: 5% fee for cancellations 30+ days prior to check-in, 25% fee for cancellations 20-29 days prior to check-in, 50% fee for cancellations 10-19 days prior to check-in. There are NO REFUNDS are available for cancellations made less than 10 days prior to check-in however we will allow penalty free re-scheduling up to 5 days prior to check-in. Re-scheduled bookings must occur within 60 days of the cancelled date and are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. Note: for bookings made less than 30-days prior to check-in, the 5% cancellation fee will still be offered for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking.
